As an assistant coach for the New York University men’s and women’s swimming programs, Miranda Johns has played a key role in elevating the Violets to national prominence since joining the staff in September 2022. Working with the coaching staff, Johns has helped guide NYU to historic success, including the women’s program capturing its
first NCAA Division III National Championship in 2026 and the men’s team earning a runner-up national finish. Her impact has contributed to a culture of excellence, with both programs consistently competing at the highest level of Division III swimming.
